The hotel is located very good with good connection to city center with trams or a nice walk along the river - about 25 min. Not cheap but fair prices in the bar compared to danish prices. All in all you got what you pay for.
Breakfast: Space for improvement - especially the coffee. Cleaning: Space for improvements - especially the bathroom. Smell at the hotel: It is a hotel for smokers. I am a smoker myself but the stench is awfull.
I liked the side view and the proximity to the river.
i didin't like the fact that the breakfast end at 10am.
Nice location, excellent value for money.
Room needed airing right at arriving because it smelled of cigarette smoke.
The reception staff is helpful, the location is rather good - about 20-30 minutes on foot from the center and almost at the bottom of Visegrad. Free parking is large and convenient.
When we checked in we were shoked by the quantity of dust in our room - it was a sunny evening and dust in the air and at all surfaces could be seen very well. But the next day after the room was cleaned by the housekeeper the situation became better - most probably the room was not used for a long time and was not re-made before we came. The bathroom is very small. But if you need just a place to sleep after a long walking day - it is OK.
Checking in 24h without problems. Nice personal. The rooms are cleaned every day. Very nice view of the river and cute ducks. 10 minutes to the city center by the tram.
Would be better to sleep in a double room on one big bed instead of two small that were put together. Prices and food in hotel restaurant didn't match at all. Variable Internet access. Rooms could be heated better.
It was very reasonably priced, and was somewhat away from the city hustle & bustle. The rooms were a good size, the showers were hot. There were many ducks & swans outside our window. Whenever we opened our window, they would swim over to see if we would feed them. Great concept.
The bed's were very uncomfortable (about a 3 inch mat on plywood). When we asked about having the bed's pushed together for my husband and I, we were told we were free to rearrange the room, but they would not do it for us. Additionally, there were many young travelers who were quite noisy and kept us up at night when coming and going. However, that did change on the weekend when an older group of tourists arrived.
My mon and I enjoyed the whole idia of staying in a boat . The view is spectacular. The transportation is accessible. The room was very clean. Most of the staff were very pleasent an helful, except for one of the desk attendant ( German lady), she was very rude, unkind, misrespectful and intimidating. This incident happen just when we arrieved to the botel. (At that moment we were almost ready to leave the place). We liked the place so much that we are planning to come back to Prague and book our reservation at the Botel R.acek, (in spite of the incident.
good that it is a boat & parking ok
no wi-fi in the rooms & no access to the balcony (terasse) always (i couldn't enjoy the view of Praha by the boat because came evening, and left morning, terrasse was closed all this time) & bed hard & bathroom not really beautiful
A good experience in hotel on the boat with low budget.
they charge extra 20% on travel day pass, water is expensive on the botel. when I ask for hot water, they seems unwilling to give me. If you want to stay on this, suggest you to prepare the travel tickets and water in advance.
Attractive location on a river, you can reach the centre walking by the river side
- Poor breakfast; - no Wi-Fi in the room; - a little noisy during early mornings and late evenings on the river; - very small bathroom
Quiet, clean enough, friendly staff
The insects around the window, but it`s not that unusual since it`s situated on a river
It was wonderful to stay on a boat in Prague. The position was out of the centre, but with very handy tram and ferry links. The location was quiet, and the botel made sure that their bar was quiet after 10pm. The room was fairly basic, but comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but it was lovely to eat it overlooking the river.
Location,tram tickets are experience.
Worth the money I paid for the stay
Staff were rude, charged me for two days when I had booked only for one day without even asking me. I ultimately prolonged the stay.
It was close to a local tram that took us to the city center within 10 or 15 minutes. The trams came often.
The bathroom was tiny.
